Senga-Hill Mission Secondary School

Languages Department

At Senga Secondary School, the Languages Department plays a vital role in nurturing students’ communication abilities across both local and global contexts. Our curriculum is centered on English—the main language of instruction—while also offering local languages such as Bemba and to celebrate and preserve cultural identity.

Students develop strong foundations in the four essential language skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. The department also promotes a love for language through engaging activities in literature, grammar, and creative writing, helping learners become confident, expressive, and articulate individuals.
